The Gethsemane Experience

We as believers have our Gethsemanes; I don’t mean the garden but the night before. Matthew 26: 36-46 and Mark 14: 32-42, are where Jesus prayed about the events that were about to occur. Our Gethsemane is the ‘night’ before our traumatic event. That’s where we do our real praying not to say that we didn’t pray before but it’s the prayer that doesn’t have anything to do with things. No cars, no houses, no money, no jewels just this thing that is right here, THE TEST.

To be common, you are worried to death for real. You can’t eat, sleep, or think of anything but what is right here and right now. This is where we as Blood Bought Believe need to hold fast to His Will. This is what world, and must Christians, will never understand. Verse 36 of Mark 14 says it, “And He was saying, ‘Abba! Father! All things are possible for Thee; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what Thou wilt.” So go into the fiery test like son/daughter of The Most High God and let the Blood of Christ cover you while in it. God will get the Glory and isn’t that what it all about?
