Justified by Faith Pt9

Romans 3: 29, “Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is He not God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,” (NASB)
Paul asks a question and the answer should be obvious. The Jews felt that the Gentiles were out of the Will of God, out of the scope of Salvation. When in act Genesis 12: 3 says that all the families of the Earth will be saved through Abram. Case in point, the Children of Israel were supposed to evangelize to the world about the coming Redeemer. But turn inward and made Gentiles less because they did not have the Law. If they want to be Saved Continue reading “Justified by Faith Pt9”

Intertestamental Period

Intertestamental Period is not just the point of time that God was not directly talking to Israel, but it is also the time when we as Christians don’t hear for the Spirit of the Lord. Sometimes we think that we have done something to anger God, but it’s just time when God has already told us to do something and we don’t want to do it. Yeah, in all of our ‘sanctification’ we get disobedience in the commands of the Lord. The main reason why God is not talking to us is because He has nothing more to say to us about this matter.

I was in this space of time and it really frustrated for me. All the fasting, praying, laboring in the Spirit, and trying to get some fresh manna weren’t going to make God move on my account. The last Word I got still remained, “Wait right here, I’ve be back.” Even though I was ready to move to the next place, the place wasn’t ready for me.

It’s like being told to be at a dinner party at 8 sharp, and you arrive at 6:30. None of the place setting is on the table, most of the food is still being prepared, and the hosts are half dressed. You are left to walk around the house looking crazy until the on-time guest show up. You can be a little early but not too early because you are just the guest and not a part of the set-up crew. God was still preparing me for what He had for me. He knew that I would like it, but He also knew that I would not want it if my mind wasn’t ready to accept it. Baby formula is expensive but it’s cheaper than cleaning up after a baby’s ‘stomach’ when you give them regular food.

“Be still and know that I am GOD.” Psalm 46: 10 was the only thing God would say other then “Wait”. I also had to remember how Abraham walked with the Lord GOD. Faithfully. Romans 4: 20, “He (Abraham) staggered not at the Promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in Faith, giving Glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what He (God) had promised, He (God) was able also to perform.”KJV The last Word from God still stands. God has not changed His Mind, and until you do what God said He would finish what He started.

Does The Cross Offend You?

If you really think about it, the Cross of Christ shows us that we cannot possible save ourselves. Romans 3: 21-31 spells out how we are justified by faith. We did not do anything but accept what Christ Jesus did for us. He paid the price of the Sin Debt that we owed GOD.

Abraham was known as the Altar Builder, but what all that he was a sinner. Yes, the Patriarch Abraham was a sinner, why do you think he built all those altars because he was so good. He just believed that God was able and that belief was reckoned to him for righteousness.

The question is; does the Cross of Christ offend you? None of your church attendance adds to your salvation. You have a book shelf full of Christ centered books, nothing. We go to revivals, conventions, missionary meeting all of this merit us nothing at the Throne of GOD. You can call yourself Dr. Bishop Apostle and have 100,000 members at your church, and this holds no weight when you are at the Cross. Jesus came to save all that would humble themselves at Cavalry‘s Cross.

The question still stands; does the Christ & Him Crucified make you feel helpless at your own means of salvation?

The Time of Famine

At the time of famine people will be tested, especially godly people’s faith. Famine means not enough or nothing at all, but we are suppose to see GOD as the God of more then enough. Jehovah-Jireh is the Promise Keeping God of Provision. God is all sufficient, when you have nothing GOD says, “I am all you need.” Jesus tells us through the Apostle Paul’s infirmities Continue reading “The Time of Famine”

What We Believe Pt1

Have you every really thought about what we believe? Seriously? We actually believe, live our lives, raise our family, and confess to other people that; GOD has three individual identities and one of them was born of a virgin. Which was announced by angels to be God, in the flesh, the Saviour for all of mankind, so we won’t go to Hell because of what Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden, some six thousand years ago, allowing a talking snake, that was suppose to have been the Devil, to trick them into eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil.
