Justified by Faith pt11

Romans 3: 31, “Do we nullify the Law through faith? God forbid! On the contrary, we establish the Law.” (NASB)
Jesus is the subject of the Law and meets the demands of the Law. The law was the tutor that showed us that we needed a Saviour, Galatians 3: 24- 25. The Brazen Altar of the Tabernacle, the Table of Shewbread, the Lamp Stand, and the Ark of the Covenant all pointed directly to the Lord Jesus. Matthew 5: 17- 20, Jesus told the Pharisees that He came to fulfill the Law not abolish it. Read more…

Justified by Faith pt10

Romans 3: 30, “since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.” (NASB)
To understand this passage we need to that the Jews were willing to allow the Gentiles to be on the same level with them. See that felt that because they came up under the Law, with all its rites, ceremonies, and rituals, that the Gentile, who were just pagans and unclean heathens, could not obtain a just standing with the LORD God. But the Holy Spirit through Paul is making it very clear that there is One God, one Salvation, and it is through and by the Belief on the Christ and Him Crucified.

Remember that justification is a legal position in acted by a judge. Our judge in the Just and Righteous LORD God and this right stand is afforded to us by the Blood of the Son of God. The Spirit of the Lord wants to make it plain and straight that there is only One who can and has justifies.

Justified by Faith Pt6

Romans 3: 26, “for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.” (NASB)
The previous verse speaks to the sinners under the Law, now this verse speaks to us. Since God is Just and the Justifier we that believe are imputed with Christ’s righteousness through our faith.

Mercy and truth are so met together, righteousness and peace have so kissed each other, Read more…

Grace or Law

Read Romans 6 & 7

Okay let’s get this straight from Jump Street, since we are in the very likeness of Christ’s death and in the likeness of His resurrection then we are free from the Law. If you are in the Law you are dead, remember all the Law can do is say that you are guilty or innocent. And since we ALL come horrible short of the Glory of the LORD, then we are all worthy of death. Get it down plain and straight, stop thinking that you can do something that God will look at and say okay to. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man comes to the Father but by Me.” The way is the Cross, the truth is you got to die, and the life is He resurrected life, period. Galatians 3: 11, is clear, ‘no one is justified by the Law before God for the Just shall live by Faith.’ Not Law but Faith, you want God to say that you are justified then live in the Liberty of Christ.

All this talk about circumcision, if you thinking cut the foreskin of your Jimmy off makes you Holy, then cut the whole ’thing’ off and be real Holy, Galatians 5: 12. The custom of circumcision was for the Children of Israel to mark themselves for the rest of the mankind. And it WAS a shadow of Christ where as in He will cut off the part of all man that is not useful and from where dirt and disease, from the Flesh, can kill what is useful to make our future. Was that plain enough?

Before you go around telling people that we need the Law understand that the Law shows us how far we fall short of God’s Glory. But Christ, Who is the Glory of the Lord, shows us the way to God.

Hebrews 10: 1-18, spells out in beautiful language in which all can understand. Or if you are really dense; Christ Jesus on the Cross summed up 4000 years of the Levitical System of Worship. There are only two lines at the end of this existence we call life; you will be the line of the LAMB for your reward(Crown of Glory) or you the line of the White Throne of Judgment. Please for the love of God read Revelation 20: 11-15.

Does The Cross Offend You?

If you really think about it, the Cross of Christ shows us that we cannot possible save ourselves. Romans 3: 21-31 spells out how we are justified by faith. We did not do anything but accept what Christ Jesus did for us. He paid the price of the Sin Debt that we owed GOD.

Abraham was known as the Altar Builder, but what all that he was a sinner. Yes, the Patriarch Abraham was a sinner, why do you think he built all those altars because he was so good. He just believed that God was able and that belief was reckoned to him for righteousness.

The question is; does the Cross of Christ offend you? None of your church attendance adds to your salvation. You have a book shelf full of Christ centered books, nothing. We go to revivals, conventions, missionary meeting all of this merit us nothing at the Throne of GOD. You can call yourself Dr. Bishop Apostle and have 100,000 members at your church, and this holds no weight when you are at the Cross. Jesus came to save all that would humble themselves at Cavalry‘s Cross.

The question still stands; does the Christ & Him Crucified make you feel helpless at your own means of salvation?
