The Word Speaketh Pt3

While I am typing this article the Spirit is calling my mind back to this morning during Praise & Worship, “By and by when the morning comes all the saints will come together in whole, and we will tell the stories of how we overcome and we will understand it better by and by.” That right there is a testimony of somebody going through. I don’t know why these things are happening but God will tell me in the Great By and By.

The Word says three times He will wipe away all the tears of every eye and face; Isaiah 25: 8, “He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.”, Revelation 7: 17, “for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”, and 21: 4, “and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”

Romans 5: 1-5 gives us a beautiful picture of what is happening to us doing our trials. God is working us into a vessel that He can us. We can not have a message with going through a mess. We can not have a testimony with a test. The old time preachers use to say, “If your faith has not been tested, then you don’t have faith.” Revelation 22: 20, He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Ight now, He said He is coming quickly, yes it has been about 2000 thousand years but when you hold all time in your hand what is another day for one more soul to be saved?

The Word Speaketh Pt2

Matthew 26: 13 was spoken by the Lord Jesus about this woman; now no one knows her name but just as He said no one has forgotten what she did. He said. Mark 4: 35, “And on that day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us go over to the other side.” Notice the Lord Jesus sounding a lot like Himself in Genesis, ‘Let us’, ‘Let there be’. The apostle John calls Him the Word, the eternal logos. The Word became flesh a live with us and we call Him Jesus. The actually words that God spoke to create become flesh, the light of Heaven became the light of this world.

The Eternal Logos wrapped Himself in flesh, lived with us for 33 and half year, got up on the cross of Calvary and shed His precious, righteous Blood to pay the high Sin Debt that we, sinful mankind, owed to a thrice Holy God. But He did leave it there because we were dead then God in His riches and mercies filled the Lord Jesus with new life and in giving Christ new life He gave us new life, this is life abundant.

John 2: 5, His mother said to the ‘servants‘, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” Mary was very clear about the power of the Son of God. I don’t know if she knew what He was going to do but what ever it was it was going to help. This is where we have to get to in our Christian walk. In the same gospel Jesus is telling us about the Holy Spirit, 16: 12-15. While He was here with us He had a lot to tell us but He couldn’t so He sent One that would tell us all things.

The Word Speaketh Pt1

No matter how high I get I always come back down to my problems. No matter how drunk I get, when I sober up my problem is still where I left it. I can go sleep with her, but after the shower my troubles are still waiting for me. The root cause of all my sins are so easy that it almost funny. It’s unbelief, plain and simple I just don’t believe that God will make a way for me. In the gospel of John Jesus tell us the He is the way. He is the way out, the way through, the only way to get the victory. The Bible is a book of eternal promises. This very web site is titled after a promise, the promise of the Redeemer.

When God speaks things have to line up with His Words. Genesis 1: 3, Then God said, “Let there be light.”, and there was light. Let’s just break that down for a second. Let there be is actually one word in Hebrew which means exist. God said, “Exist light.” and the science of physics was born. A flaming ball that is 70% hydrogen and 28% helium shines light at 186,000 miles per second right then and there. ‘There’ is the part I like. God said, “Let THERE be light.” look at where the sun is a few feet there or here and we couldn’t live. The LORD told the sun to get there and there it has been for how every long it has been there. God’s words can’t fall, what He says stands, period.

Genesis 3: 15 seems like just the LORD God cursing the devil but in fact He was putting into motion His Plan of Redemption. The big clue is the seed of the woman, woman don’t have seeds they berth them. Only men have seeds, they are located in our seed bags. The only way a woman can have seed is for her to be a virgin. Don’t worry about it if you don’t know it, I was total taken back when I got this revelation. This promise was so well known to the devil that when he found out the Abram was the father of the redeemer, he made Sarai barren but this was just a test of their faith caused by God. God has been using the devil to trial us forever, but with every trial He makes a way of escape. A way, get it?

Intertestamental Period

Intertestamental Period is not just the point of time that God was not directly talking to Israel, but it is also the time when we as Christians don’t hear for the Spirit of the Lord. Sometimes we think that we have done something to anger God, but it’s just time when God has already told us to do something and we don’t want to do it. Yeah, in all of our ‘sanctification’ we get disobedience in the commands of the Lord. The main reason why God is not talking to us is because He has nothing more to say to us about this matter.

I was in this space of time and it really frustrated for me. All the fasting, praying, laboring in the Spirit, and trying to get some fresh manna weren’t going to make God move on my account. The last Word I got still remained, “Wait right here, I’ve be back.” Even though I was ready to move to the next place, the place wasn’t ready for me.

It’s like being told to be at a dinner party at 8 sharp, and you arrive at 6:30. None of the place setting is on the table, most of the food is still being prepared, and the hosts are half dressed. You are left to walk around the house looking crazy until the on-time guest show up. You can be a little early but not too early because you are just the guest and not a part of the set-up crew. God was still preparing me for what He had for me. He knew that I would like it, but He also knew that I would not want it if my mind wasn’t ready to accept it. Baby formula is expensive but it’s cheaper than cleaning up after a baby’s ‘stomach’ when you give them regular food.

“Be still and know that I am GOD.” Psalm 46: 10 was the only thing God would say other then “Wait”. I also had to remember how Abraham walked with the Lord GOD. Faithfully. Romans 4: 20, “He (Abraham) staggered not at the Promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in Faith, giving Glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what He (God) had promised, He (God) was able also to perform.”KJV The last Word from God still stands. God has not changed His Mind, and until you do what God said He would finish what He started.

Coming Down From A Great High Pt2

The Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12: 8-10, He pleaded and begged the Lord Jesus three times to removed what troubled him and all the Lord said to him was “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in your weakness.” True believers with faith call on the Lord to remove the from the problem or the problem from them, but God calls true Believers to lean harder on Him because He has a perfect ‘out clause’. In our weakness GOD strengthens us to show up and show out. He will be praised in our darkest hour if we lean on Him and have faith that He can begin us out.

The enemy will not let our light shine because the Light of the world might help others that are in the dark come to see Who the Light really is. So he sends his agents to kill our light and have us call GOD for death. Satan has no claim to us anymore more, Romans 6: 9. Because since we are baptized into Christ’s death, Romans 6: 3, the life that the enemy has called for execution is not our life but the Resurrected Life of Christ Jesus.

So the next time we are riding high in victory, we must remember that right around the corner is the low. But we must remember that at the Victory Trumpet of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, He call us for a Victory Party that will never have a low waiting for us.

Coming Down From A Great High Pt1

1 Kings 19: 1-4
Do not get being high on drugs, alcohol, or sex twisted with being high on the LORD , but understand that they can have the same results or feelings, just follow me. After Elijah the Prophet had made a heart-felt pray to the LORD for the Children of Israel to know Him. The LORD showed up, 1 Kings 18: 36-39. Elijah had the prophet of Baal killed, 1 Kings 18:40. Ahab, king of Israel, ran and told Jezebel what happen, 1 Kings 19: 1. This is the lows of that great high.

Elijah ran into the wilderness for the sake of his life and prayed to the LORD to take his life because he believed Jezebel’s assassins would finish the job of killing the prophets of the God of Israel. This would be in the same light as being in church and get baptized by the Holy Spirit for the first time. Then still on that high you come home and find your house burnt to the ground. You are still emotional from the Holy Spirit but the enemy has put this obstacle in your path. Or the LORD is say, “What are you going to do? Praise ME for the gift of the Holy Spirit or allow the devil to shut down your JOY.” GOD’s Grace is not the things that are around you, but the covering that is over you.

What We Believe Pt2

We have our many doctrines and denominations and with all of our many rituals, ceremonies, and terminologies, we expect the world to think of us as one, which is called The Church. Oh yeah, don’t forget to pay your tithe, ten percent of your gross income, to the Church. Seriously, that’s a lot to absorb, and it’s all hinges on John 3: 16, “ For GOD so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”NASB. This comes from a book written by men that were ‘inspired’ by the Holy Spirit of God.

Well yes, all of this would seem far fetched if the evidences weren’t so dramatic. Untold numbers of people and their lives radically changed for the better. I am talking about hundreds of billions of people that are willing to testify to the goodness of God, through the working of the Holy Spirit with just a little bit of faith in Christ & Him Crucified. And about that book, a beautiful story about redemption in the belief of a LAMB sacrificed for sinful mankind’s deeds against a Righteous, Just, and Loving GOD. The Bible is the Word of God telling us; I Love You.

Come on seriously, this is what we believe? Just think for about a minute, get pass the holy-rollers church services, all the tears, all the hours of praying, studying the Bible, and all the conferences and revivals to get a fresh word from on High. I know for me, if God came in the form of flesh like mine and went through all they say He did for me to have GOD accept me into His Presence. So that when I die I will be able to see thank you face to face. But while I am alive, I will live thank you. Yes my life is in service to Christ Jesus will be my thanking Him, Roman 12: 1. Because if the story is correct once I exhibit faith in what He did at Calvary was for me, than GOD doesn’t see all the sinning I did. He sees all the righteousness of Jesus Christ. And what I want my God to see is nothing but the Blood of Jesus. So yeah, that’s what I believe, what about you?

What We Believe Pt1

Have you every really thought about what we believe? Seriously? We actually believe, live our lives, raise our family, and confess to other people that; GOD has three individual identities and one of them was born of a virgin. Which was announced by angels to be God, in the flesh, the Saviour for all of mankind, so we won’t go to Hell because of what Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden, some six thousand years ago, allowing a talking snake, that was suppose to have been the Devil, to trick them into eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil. Now this is the same God that separated a nation out a man and woman, Abraham and Sarah, that weren’t having children til they are about a hundred years, gave this nation ten rule to follow and when they didn’t follow them He allow other nations to inflected them with cruel living conditions.

But back to this Galilean named Jesus, son of Joseph and Mary; we believe that He preached a message filled with love and compassion for your fellow man and woman and that the Kingdom of the Most High GOD was at hand for some three and half years. But the religious hierarchy thought Him to be a blaspheming young man that deserved to be killed in the world’s cruelest form of execution, the cross. Now the part that makes the world look at us funny is; we believe that He, Jesus, came to earth for this purpose only: to die for the sins of mankind. Just as was prescribed in the Levitical System of Worship mapped out by GOD Himself to the Jews when they came out of Egyptian bondage. We also believe, without any doubt, that after Jesus died, He was buried in a burrowed tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, wrapped with linen cloths in the custom of the day, and after three days dead in the grave, He rose from the dead in a new glorified state. And was seen by a lot of witnesses including His disciples, Then the disciples took His message all around the Middle-East, North Africa, and Southern Europe.

The Mind Of A Worshipper Pt2

Another way Paul knew that the Bereans wanted the Word, they examining the Word daily. Paul had to be with them long enough to see the hunger in them. The Bereans searched, examined, investigated, and studied the Word daily; not just after 11am Service in light dinner convocation to show that they weren’t sleep during service. Paul was probably reminding Timothy of the Bereans in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Be diligent [study] to [show] present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling [dividing] the word of truth.” NASB Our Christ walk must be done on a daily bases. Our spirituality growth is not something you invest just on Sunday but we must have a study life, along side with a church life.

Now here is where the rubber meets the road, a prayer life. I am starting to understand that the lack of prayer life is a gateway for the foolishness of a flesh life. Without a prayer life I am giving way for the enemy to get a hold of me. This is the last phrase of v. 11, “…to see whether these things were so.” Which simply means that they weren’t just studying but they were waiting on the manifestation of the Word to be revealed in their hearts and the only way that this can be accomplished is through the Holy Spirit. When it come to any book, the author is the best one to tell you what it means, 2 Timothy 3: 16,17, “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” NASB

Now pulling all this together; a church life, a study life, and a prayer life, we have a mind for Christ which gives us a mind of a worshipper. Isaiah 26: 3 very plainly reads, “You [GOD] will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You [GOD] , Because he trusts in You [GOD].” NKJV GOD is very clear about where our minds need to be if we want peace; HIM. The worst it gets, more intent our thoughts have to be on GOD through Christ. Think about it like this GOD kept Jesus in peace during His crucifixion. So what will He do for us who are in Christ? Romans 6: 4, “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” NASB

The Mind Of A Worshipper Pt1

Acts 17: 10,11
The mind of a worshipper has to be in the right place to receive the Message of Christ and Him Crucified. Paul, after leaving Thessalonica, went to Berea and founded the Jews and the Gentiles in the synagogue. In other words, a new preacher comes to town, went to church, and found the locals in church seeking for the Word. Paul discovered the Bereans to be more noble-minded than the Thessalonians because they had a hunger for the Word of GOD. Verse 11 reads, “Now these [Bereans] were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, to see whether these things were so.” NASB Meaning they were eager to receive the Word, examined the Word daily, and waited for the manifestation of the Word.

We can see the Bereans eagerness for the Word in that they were at church either late at night or early in the morning. Verse 10 says that Paul and Silas fled from Thessalonica at night, Berea is about 45 to 50 miles southwest. And because I’m a thinking man I can see Paul and Silas were hot stepping at least half of the way trip, and it probably took about maybe three to four hours. So the first thing the new preacher sees when he get in the new city is Church-folk wanting a word, when everybody else want to sleep, now that had to do their heart some good.

People that want the Word are more than likely at church; 8am Service, 11am Service, Tuesday Night Prayer Service, and Wednesday Night Bible Study. Romans 10: 17, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” NKJV Another way to put it is, “Your Faith in GOD through Christ Jesus from presently hearing the Word of GOD, and while you are hearing the Word make sure you are hearing the undiluted Word of GOD.”
