Glory to the New Born King Pt2

I thought I could sing the Praises of the LORD but David could put me to a beautiful shame. There has never been a singer of a hymn or a praise leader that could hold a candle to that little shepherd boy. The first time he sung what you call the twenty-third psalm I knew then that the Redeemed would come through him. The Love of the LORD was all over that child.

If I could understand and produce hatred, I would say that word about Ahab. Read more…

Glory to the New Born King

Luke 2: 7- 14
I remember that dreadful day as if it were yesterday; Adam ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of God & Evil. I cried, “No!” but he could not here me for I am just a Watcher. I have seen man at his best and at his worst. Why is he at his worst so often?

Poor young Abel, he could have never imaged his brother committing such as act to him. Eve just cried for what seemed like a tear for each day she would be without her boys; Adam looked towards the heavens and asked, Read more…

Justified by Faith Pt9

Romans 3: 29, “Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is He not God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,” (NASB)
Paul asks a question and the answer should be obvious. The Jews felt that the Gentiles were out of the Will of God, out of the scope of Salvation. When in act Genesis 12: 3 says that all the families of the Earth will be saved through Abram. Case in point, the Children of Israel were supposed to evangelize to the world about the coming Redeemer. But turn inward and made Gentiles less because they did not have the Law. If they want to be Saved Read more…

Justified by Faith Pt8

Romans 3: 28, “For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.” (NASB)
Now this should put down any idea of works having anything to with justification. This is another slap in the face of man; we so desperately want to add in our Salvation that we would even go the extreme and willfully disobey God and call it total obedience, Isaiah 64: 6.

Please don’t walk away in thinking that we don’t need to keep the Commandments, get water baptized, take the Lord’s Supper, and do good deeds. We should and must do our part in the Kingdom Read more…

Justified by Faith Pt7

Romans 3: 27, “Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No but by a law faith.” (NASB)

This verse speaks to those of us that think that we can do something to earn the Righteousness of God. The grace of God is a free gift. Free means that we can not pay for it. The Apostle Paul was talking to the Jews who use the fact that they had the Law which was their works. But if works could earn grace, then grace isn’t free.

Salvation is something that man can not boast about obtaining for himself and the very idea of it makes man excluded from it. This is one of the main reasons why the Cross of Christ offends people. Read more…
