The Mind Of A Worshipper Pt2

Another way Paul knew that the Bereans wanted the Word, they examining the Word daily. Paul had to be with them long enough to see the hunger in them. The Bereans searched, examined, investigated, and studied the Word daily; not just after 11am Service in light dinner convocation to show that they weren’t sleep during service. Paul was probably reminding Timothy of the Bereans in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Be diligent [study] to [show] present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling [dividing] the word of truth.NASB Our Christ walk must be done on a daily bases. Our spirituality growth is not something you invest just on Sunday but we must have a study life, along side with a church life.

Now here is where the rubber meets the road, a prayer life. I am starting to understand that the lack of prayer life is a gateway for the foolishness of a flesh life. Read more…

Fatherly Advise

There was something that my wife called to attention about the relationship between my son and myself. I tell him to stop doing something and he continues until I get close enough to him to ‘stop’ him. And he says, “Okay, I’ll stop.” I tell him to come here and until I raise my voice or make the attempt to bring him to where I need him to be, then he does what I said or comes to where I need him to be.
